Breaking Things

I think I can understand the appeal of destruction. To destroy something is to tie yourself to its existence; in a manner to have owned it even for an instant. I am now presented with an opportunity to destroy something, I look forward to it.

Good Morning/ Afternoon /Evening bloggers,

Hello, and welcome to our Blog: a place where we are able to at last express our feelings into words, and get recognition and/or remarks from the World. This blog was first made solely as a new assignment for our English A1 HL class. However, after a few months of faithful blogging, it was put on hiatus.

This did not stop us from adding new blog entries to Longing Silence, mind you. In fact, this place of refuge may well be one of the small number of reasons to express, criticize, wonder, question, and even interpret the very ideas of life itself.

So, without further ado, we'll start off by introducing ourselves...

Alice Lie was born in Indonesia, but spent 8 years in Canada. The vertically-impaired anatomy of this particular blogger is most intelligent and is quick to adapt to her surroundings.

Edward Lawrence was born in Jakarta. His infamous nickname, ML, was put forth not as a 'mission statement'. He is modestly intelligent and, unlike Lie, horizontally enhanced. Lawrence has an imaginative mind and, in cases, can be quite gullible. You'll like him.

Indra Pramana is known to be a warmonger throughout his entire life. Even though he may appear to be mentally unstable, beneath his tough exterior is a boy with a good heart. An avid history student, Pramana enjoys discussing the leadership of prominient figures of old with his fellow classmates.

Jessica Tjandra is intelligent, hyperactive, adept, and absolutely lovely. A rather interesting person, her leadership abilites is always reliable even in the most stressful conditions. Striving to always be of near-perfect quality, Jessica would always consult others for his amazing grammar-checking abilities.

Phoebe Uguy is a new addition to Longing Silence, where she also shares her thoughts and feelings to her fellow students. Famous for her excellent academic skills, Phoebe's addition to the team is greatly appreciated!

So there you have it, a new beginning and hopefully something that would last quite a while...if not, at least 'till end of the grade :) So much for the hopes of the future....Enjoy, guys!
